Welcome to the club! Every game arcade needs a mascot, and ours is Comino—the world's most curious, globe-trotting seal!
While most seals are content lounging on sea ice or napping on sunny beaches, Comino has an unquenchable thirst for global knowledge, spatial mapping, regional history, and macro statistics. One day, Comino popped out of the ocean, grabbed a travel pack, and set out to explore every sovereign state across the globe!
Every daily challenge on our is inspired directly by Comino's international travels:
- In Country Chaser, test your visual recall and spatial skills as you identify the country shapes, national flags, and capital cities Comino navigates today.
- In Passport Pursuit, sharpen your lateral thinking and cross-referencing by piecing together Comino's cultural, historical, and geographical postcards.
- In Data Diver, flex your data literacy and analytical skills as you plunge into demographic, environmental, and economic charts recorded along the way.
We created comino.club to give map lovers and trivia enthusiasts a cozy, daily mental workout. As Comino ventures across new continents and ocean currents, more games will unlock! You can track your daily progress and win streaks anytime on the My Stats page or lend a hand to keep the project running on our Support page.
🔒 Accounts, Privacy & Security
Playing as a Guest: By default, you can play every game completely anonymously. Your daily progress, game history, and win streaks are saved locally on your device via your web browser's storage. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or sell your activity data.
Cloud Sync & Logging In: If you want to keep your win streaks safe or switch between your phone, tablet, and desktop without losing progress, you can sign in using Google or a Magic Link sent directly to your email. When logged in, your local game stats automatically sync to your account in the cloud.
How We Keep Your Data Safe:
- Passwordless Auth: We use secure, passwordless authentication (OAuth & Magic Links). We never ask for or store passwords on our servers, reducing security risks.
- Secure Infrastructure: Your account and synced stats are powered by Supabase, built on enterprise-grade Row Level Security (RLS). This ensures that only you have permission to read or update your personal game stats.
- Data Ownership: We only store the minimal information necessary to identify your account (your email) and your game scores/streaks. You can log out anytime to revert to local-only gameplay.
